In pursuit of higher quality products, we have evolved our know-how in oil whetstones and pursued higher quality by listening to the voices of our users.
The grain size is equivalent to medium #280, fine #600, and extra fine #1000. The bond is a vitrified clay-like material impregnated with solid oil, and the extremely high degree of bonding (HRH100-115) makes this whetstone less likely to lose its shape.
Whetstone dimensions can be made in any shape, from 4-inch and 6-inch square whetstones to comb-shaped, square, triangular, and round sticks.
Specifications include deburring, chamfering, surface correction and finishing of molds, and more (a wide range of uses).
Since it has been oil-treated, it feels smooth even when used as is, and if you use it with a little grinding oil, your work efficiency will improve even more, and you will achieve a higher precision finish than conventional oil whetstones.
(Caution)
Because it is a flammable solid, be sure to dry the whetstone naturally. It may cause a fire.
Difference from conventional oil stones
- Achieves a more precise finish
- Impregnated with oil for a smooth feel and improved work efficiency
- Extremely high bonding reduces deformation and wear, allowing product capabilities to be utilized even in harsh work conditions

Introducing the finished surface and "Cherry Oil"
The stone is oil-impregnated, so you can experience a smooth feel even when used as is.
Using a small amount of grinding oil will further improve work efficiency. (We recommend using grinding oil.)
The finished surface will achieve a higher precision (surface roughness) than conventional oil stones.
(Varies depending on the workpiece and the amount of force applied)
[Caution]
The stone contains flammable materials, so be sure to air dry it as it may cause a fire.
The related product below, "Cherry Oil," can be used together with "Sakura" to improve work efficiency.
